I have been practicing therapy for just over 20 years, but my journey began in 1997 when I began working with clients in a group home. I was also working in a Social Psychology lab while pursuing my own research about attachment styles. Since then, I have worked in community mental health centers, hospitals, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and finally, providing individual psychotherapy for the past 10 years. While I have experience treating everything from significant mood, anxiety and thought disorder diagnoses, substance abuse, and adjustment disorders, I receive many referrals specifically for working with those who have experienced Trauma/PTSD. We are equals in this process-both bringing valuable insight and experience. When combined, together we find solutions that can lead to profound healing. I don't give up on people, and I have endless ideas about things to try.
